    I have up for auction a record (78) on the black and gold patent VICTOR RECORD label from the early 1900s, last patent date of 1910! It is #16511 by Arthur Pryor's Band and selections are "Temptation Rag" and "Jungle Moon"-Two Step. The record is in very good plus to excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and almost all surface variety, none deep. Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean.
